The Anti-Mafia Investigation Department was born on October 29th, 1991. It is a project inspired by judge Giovanni Falcone to unite the Italian police forces in the fight against organized crime. On 24 May 1992, the day after the Capaci massacre, the DIA became operational. “DIA 1991 – Speak little, never appear” shows unpublished images of that dramatic event. The film tells the investigative operations of the DIA through the voice of the real operative agents who carried them out.
